Al Jaddaf, also known as Al Jadaf, is a neighbourhood in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Previously, Al Jaddaf, which translates as The Rower, was predominantly a dhow construction location. Its shipyards are now the exclusive location for the construction and upkeep of these historic vessels.
New developments in the region feature Dubai Culture Village, a designated community focused on visual, performing, and literary arts, as well as the second phase of Dubai Medical City. This region is still evolving into a large hotel centre, with up to 5 hotels now under development, including the Marriott Al Jadaf, Reflect Hotel Apartments, and Arabian Park Hotel.
